Open the Cheat Console (PC)

Bring up the console by hitting the ` key and type the following for desired effect. Note: Some console command cheats can cause bugs later on, or cause situations which may 'break' certain quests. If you're unsure of your game's stability, don't save your game after using the command and disable autosaves in the main menu.

Infinite Items Exploit

Step 1: Place any item you have lots of in the storage, for me it's lockpicks and I have x537. They are easy to make, so you can use these too if you need an item for this. Step 2: Press O + X (PS4) / A + B (Xbox One) at the same time while highlighting the item you placed in the storage. Step 3: You will get booted out of the storage menu, but the 'Retrieve Item' will stay on the screen for a few seconds. Step 4: Once it has gone, open the storage again. The 'Retrieve Item' will still be on the screen. You can move down your backpack though while this screen is up. Step 5: Find the item you want to use the glitch on and then just press ? (PS4) / Y (Xbox One) on it. It will duplicate however many of the item you placed in there initially. So for me, I have x537 relief packages from those lockpicks. This equates to hundreds and thousands of survivor XP when you turn it in.

Item Duplication

Follow the following steps to duplicate any item (or coins) (Tested on Ver 1.1.1) NOTE:This only applies to worlds you can make by yourself with your own TerrariaServer.exe, won't work on anyone elses world. 1.Place the item you want to dupe in a chest in a world (can be any world, it wont affect the items in it after) 2.Run the TerrariaServer.exe (typically found in 'C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\terraria') 3.Select the world you kept the item on on the TerrariaServer.exe) 4. Join multiplayer game and type 'localhost' in the IP page. 5.Take all the items you want to duplicate using your character. 6.Next, on the console for TerrariaServer.exe, type 'exit-nosave' (it disconnects your character but doesnt save the world, so your items will still be as it is before you go in.) 7.Go to desired world and unload all your duplicated items. 8.Repeat steps to do it over and over again.
