Monster Hunter: World - Iceborne Tip • Flinch Shot tutorial

Flinch shot is performed by pressing R2 after Clutch Claw the monster (Aiming with L2 + O/B)

This will used up all of the Slinger Ammo, but can make the monster go to the desired direction. If it hits a wall during this animation, the monster will be knocked down.

However, the shot must be peformed on the head of the monster. This is the same for both flying and monster on the ground. Some may say you can Flinch Shot the monster flying just by hitting it's body, but it's not true.

Finally, the Flinch Shot can only performed on non-angry monster. It has no effect on the Enraged ones
