While mounting a monster, you can completely get away without ever using the brace command. (Holding R2 on PS4)

Mount a monster as you normally would. And proceed to attack as normal. When the monster is about to thrash, instead of holding the brace button to ride out it’s attempts to throw you off, use the move command instead. Your hunter moves to another spot on the monster without any loss to your stamina gauge, freeing up the opportunity to continue to deal damage. This can be done for as long as you’re mounted in the monster.

Infinite Money with Lizarhd Doors

After you have a Picksaw drop from the Golem go to a world where the temple has not been unlocked with a key and Plantera has already been defeated. Make your way to the temple and mine the blocks under the door and it will break the door but the locked door will remain and 3 to 12 doors will drop at a time. Just replace the block and re-mine, wash-rinse-repeat . This has been tested on 1.2.1.2 on both P.C. and Console.

Easy Thousand Cuts Farming

After accepting the quest 'Rocko's Modern Strife' and heading to Thousand Cuts to start 'Defend Slab Tower' you should notice that no foes will spawn in the area; as long as you don't progress through the quest. Since normal foes will no longer spawn, you are free to circle the area and loot every chest without being hindered by enemies. However, foes like one-armed bandits and loot midgets will still spawn. If you save and exit after clearing all the chests, you can simply accept 'Defend Slab Tower' once again and clear them out as many times as you like with the same conditions as long as you don't complete the quest.
